"Cuff Your Jeans, Girl!"

I have a love/hate relationship with menswear. While I love boyfriend jeans on other girls, it sometimes appears that I am swimming in fabric rather than wearing actual clothes. Often times, my small frame gets lost in boxy blazers and loose button down shirts. Alas--as always is in fashion--not everything works for everyone. However, I do love menswear-INSPIRED pieces that are made to fit a woman's shape. I absolutely fell in love with this shirt because it was fitted in all the right areas and had little girlie details like the cute buttons and lace shoulders. Plus, adding a belt at the waist can never hurt! :)

What do you think of it?

Lace details on the shoulders
I was wearing:
White XOXO button down shirt | Dark wash skinny jeans | Bronze Steve Madden gladiator sandals| Bronze waist belt | Cognac Franco Sarto purse

Thanks for reading!

  3. Love the cameo ring and green nail polish!
I agree, menswear inspired pieces that are designed to fit women are often better than just wearing something designed to fit a man, this looks great on you - having said that I love borrowing my boyfriend's shirts to layer up over things!
Great blog, I'll be following from now on :)

  7. i completely agree! i really wanted a new white shirt a few months ago, and so my boyfriend gave me one of this, yet i really looked awful, and instead looked as if i'd stepped out in a hospital gown rather than anything positive! instead i went for a max mara male inspired shirt but with like, chanel detailing. perfect :) i'm glad someone else agrees with me here!
